Waxed Finishes
Waxed floors can be vacuumed
or dry mopped regularly. As with surface finished floors, it is
important to keep dirt and grit off the floor, and scatter rugs
should be placed at entrances.

| Occasionally (perhaps once
a month) it may be helpful to buff the floor. This will help
redistribute the wax, making a more even finish. |
| You may notice that
heavily traveled areas wear faster than others. Those areas can be
re-waxed without re-waxing the entire floor. |
| Once or twice each year,
depending on traffic, your wax finish should be cleaned, stripped
and re-waxed. This is a process you can do yourself, however it is
helpful to have a buffer. |
