A prefinished floor is one on which the finish is
applied at the factory. Most (but not all) engineered products are
prefinished, and some solid products are available prefinished.
Most prefinished flooring has aluminum oxide mixed
into the finish, creating a very durable surface. |

eliminates the dust and noise factor involved in the job - site
finishing process, however, your finish and stain options are more
limited. |
