Safety and the prevention of accidents to our
employees is everyone's responsibility.
We are committed to prevent accidents before they
happen.
Our safety Program is designed to train our employees
to understand and fulfill the requirements of the
rules and regulations of the following: |

Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA)
-
Florida Phosphate Council (FPC)
-
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
-
Environmental Agencies-State and Federal Comply with
other agencies per the request of the client safety
training and enforcement departments.
Our training program includes, but not limited to, the
following safety and company polices and procedures:

Mine Safety and Health Administration approved safety
training program for McDonald employees to be certified
to work in the Phosphate mines.

Hands on methods and techniques are used in our
programs- We include CPR, Heimlich maneuver, first aid
products and fire extinguisher training.

Safety standards and work rules for McDonald employees
are outlined in the McDonald Safety standards booklet
given to all employees, supervisors, and customers.

Job site safety settings are held weekly on project
site.

Yearly MSHA refresher courses are conducted monthly from
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at our main office in Lakeland,
Florida.

Site specific training classes are held at each site for
MSHA and FPC.
-
Emergency Action plans have been implemented for our
shops and work areas.
