Land Reclamation
McDonald Construction has reclaimed Thousands of acres of
Phosphate mined land in central Florida. Our experience
consists of reconstructing wetlands, building land and
lakes, pasture development and reforestation.
Gypsum Stack Maintenance
We have been constructing and maintaining gypsum stacks
since 1962. Our customer base is as follows:
Projects:
Cargill Fertilizer
We currently maintain their Tampa, and Bartow, Florida
stacks. We performed the closure project on their
non-current stack at their Tampa, Florida Facility. We
currently have a three year contract for their stack
maintenance.
CF Industries Inc.
We have completed Phase I of CF Plant City Florida's
Gypsum stack expansion. We maintain the stack at their
Bartow Bonnie plant, and are performing closure operations
at this facility.
Farmland Hydro
Constructed and maintain both stacks at their Green Bay
Facility in Bartow, Florida. Their newest stack - (2001)
consisted of the largest single Poly liner installation in
the US.
IMC Phosphates
We maintain the South Pierce complex gypsum stack. Ft
Meade, Florida and have performed their maintenance since
the startup of the facility in 1966. We also assist in the
maintenance of the New Wales gypsum stack.
US Agri-chemicals
We have assisted in their maintenance at their Ft Meade
Operations, and constructed their additional Stack area
South of their Ft. Meade Plant.
