SCHOOL OF THE WORD -- Sundays, 9:45 AM
Teachers use stories, creative teaching methods, and group
interactions that are relevant for each age group that
illuminates the Bible. Classes care for each other as they pray
for the special needs of one another. You won’t leave the same!
School of the Word values relationships and fellowship; we
gather for donuts, coffee, and juice at
9:30 AM.
We have classes for all age groups.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
“Under Construction” Nursery for 0-2 year olds
gather in the John Moore, Sr. Building Nursery each service.
Children are introduced to Jesus through activities designed to
keep their attention. Parents can rest easy knowing that loving
caregivers can reach them quickly through our electronic paging
system.
Pre-School
ages 2-5 years old meet upstairs
in the John Moore, Sr. Building Pre-School Room each service.
This class is full of fun-loving, enthusiastic children.
They assist the teacher in telling Bible stories; also they
enjoy learning verses and participating in arts & crafts.
These energized bundles of joy soak up the Word and love to tell
others of Jesus. The Assemblies of God
“Rainbow” program is taught during the Sunday
6 PM service.
Surge Kids
Is
a high-energy church for
ages 6-11 year old boys and girls. They meet
upstairs in the John Moore, Sr. Building Children’s Room.
Each service the Truth is taught through object lessons, Bible
stories, puppets and drama.
YOUTH
The Dock
offers
a high-energy service for Middle & High School Students. They
meet in the Youth Building Sundays,
6 PM and Wednesdays at
7 PM.
The
Marina
and Game Room, give the students opportunities to interact
before and after the services. Pizza, chips, candy, and drinks
are available for a reasonable price. The Dock gives a good
foundation for teenagers during these turbulent years.

YOUNG ADULTS
Between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five
and looking for people you can relate to? Then
The Avenue
is the place for you! They meet in the East Upstairs Sanctuary
classroom for School of the Word. Once a month they Connect
in a home or one of the local restaurants to discuss relevant
issues and discover how God’s Word has the answers for their
everyday living. Summers are packed with exciting social
gatherings and events.
ADULTS
So you’re not eighteen anymore, but you still like to get
together with people with similar interests as yours.
School of the Word
offers several adult classes throughout the year that vary
around the issues that adults face, parenting, marriage,
finances, work ethics, temptations, etc. You can also get
Connected with one of the many small groups held in homes or
local restaurants, the second Sunday evening of the month.
Regularly the Men and Women’s Ministry have special services and
events designed to meet the needs of these diverse groups.
SENIOR ADULTS
This group loves to get together and study God’s Word in depth.
Every Sunday at 9:45 AM in the Youth Building, Senior Adult
Class, you find an enthusiastic group of Senior Adults
discussing, learning, and sharing a time of fellowship. Like
all of us, this group likes to get together to eat and celebrate
Jesus, the second Monday of the month they gather for Overcomers’
Lunch with the Pastor. They share testimonies, enjoy special
music, and are motivated to continue to reach the world around
them for Jesus.
