POOL PRE-DELIVERY CHECK LIST

• Place your order for the pool of your choice 2 weeks prior to the desired delivery date. If you are requesting installation training, please notify Continental Pool Works on or before the day the pool is ordered.

• Acquire a permit if required. The permit must be on display at or near the job site.

• If utility re-routes are required, they must be done prior to excavation.

• Arrange for the pool excavation the day of or day before the pool arrives (the less time the hole is open, the less chance for wash outs or cave ins).

• Arrange for the crane. It is a good idea to have the crane people preview the site head of time, so they can determine the best equipment to be used for your particular situation.

• If dirt is to be hauled away, arrange for a dump truck or trucks to be on site for the excavation. (check-out the area for a dump site near by if possible ).

• The day before the pool is scheduled to arrive, call the pool manufacturer for the name and cell phone number of your driver so that you can check on the delivery progress.

• Remove fence panels or any other access obstructions before the pool arrives. Temporary fencing is usually required on pool sites.

• If required, arrange for a skid steer loader to move sand around on the day the pool is to be set.

• Back fill sand or stone dust should be delivered to the site the day of excavation. Try to place it as near the pool sit as possible without blocking the access around the excavation.

• Five hundred pounds of loose or bags of 3/4" drainage rock (not pea gravel) will be required for the dry well the day of excavation.

• If fill water is a problem, make arrangements for a water truck or some other method for filling the pool.

• Schedule the electrician and deck man to preview the job with you when the pool is set. This will allow you to iron out any kinks before they create delays or confusion.

• If required, arrange for fence installation at or before pool completion.
