Our classes are by American Safety & Health Institute, and all instructors are certified through American Safety & Health and some with American Heart Association. We also have Spanish speaking instructors.

Both Lee and Jimmy are OSHA Outreach Instructors, ASHI Instructors for First Aid and CPR, MSHA Instructors, and NUCA Instructors. Combined together, they have over 36 years in experience as Emergency Services Responders:  Lee as a Paramedic for Polk County Emergency Medical Services and Jimmy as a Firefighter EMT for Polk County Fire Rescue. Together they have both held positions at Polk Community College as Adjunct Instructors.

Gene Purvis, Manager

Gene is an Outreach Instructor with OHSA, ASHI Instructor in First Aid and CPR and State Certified Fire Instructor 3.  A 1997 Graduate of USF with a BA on Chemistry, Gene has over 14 years in Emergency Experience and is a Lieutenant County Fire/Paramedic with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.  Gene also has extensive training in Technical Rescue and has held positions at Polk Community College as an Adjunct Instructor.

Central Florida Safety Training Consultants, LLC

Established in 1997, CFST provides training, inspections/audit and on-site personnel for safety service and programs.

CFST recognizes the expanding need for both Public and Private Industry and Construction Safety Training and Programs.  With both a passion for life and a slightly different approach to "typical" training, CFST makes training easy and enjoyable.  Our backgrounds gives us the foundation of our philosophies and make us different and unique in the Safety Industry.  We are dedicated to providing high quality training and services by raising the standards through impeccable personal character, high work ethics and a passionate pursuit of a safe environment for the workplace and community.
