Tampa Bay, Florida Fishing Report

Fishing Report

Just as I Reported last week. The water Temp hit the Magic Number. And fishing turned on like someone hit the light switch. Devil Rays Pitcher Jim Parque had an Awesome after noon with me on Monday. Despite high winds and a Thunder Storm. Fishing live bait Jim and his Agent in about five hours fishing caught 25 to 30 Snook up to 30 inches 2 nice Redfish up to 20 inches and some very nice Trout. Not Bad for His first trip on Tampa Bay.

Tuesday was just as good Brain Robert and his Brother Tim joined me for a half day in the Morning. The tide was not right for Snook, and Reds so we Headed for some Trout flats on the other side of the Bay. Just as I planed as soon as the Tide turned We caught Ladyfish and Mackerel and Trout for Almost 3 hours. Every bait that hit the water the fish were fighting over it. None stop Action.

Wednesday was another afternoon trip. With a very good Client of mine Tony Sanders caught and Realest about 40 Snook up to 40 inches.

The Inshore fishing will be this good for at the next 8 weeks. Then it will be my Favorite time of the. Tarpon Tarpon And more Tarpon. By the Middle of May we will be Sight casting to Pods of Tarpon on The Beaches here on the west coast. Nothing gets my hart pounding like a pod of 100 Pound Tarpon at Day light.

So if your thinking about a trip of a life time I still have some Good dates open for May and June.

Tight Lines. And God Bless our Troops.
