Fishing provides a natural therapy to the anxieties of modern day life, or the boredom of everyday routines.  Fishing is a catalyst to build upon relationships with those in your fishing trip party - parents and children, business associates, family or friends. 

     Fishing can be very exciting!  Imagine casting to a school of Silver King Tarpon and the thrill when one takes your line!   Or catching your first fish!

     Want to outsmart a Snook?  Or catch the ultimate Tarpon?  Where we fish is relative to whether you want to fish generally, fish for a particular species or may even be determined by the season of the year when certain fish are running in their favorite "hot spots."

     Tampa Bay backwaters is where most fishing is done where Capt. Mike has extensive knowledge of the bay area, the waterways and the out-of-the-way "local" fishing holes.  In the early summer the waters of Charlotte Bay and Boca Grande are also fished mainly for Tarpon, Redfish, and Trout.

     The Mangrove Shoreline of Tampa Bay provide excellent fishing grounds.  These large areas of mangrove are surrounded by waters abundant with fish of all types that are particularly suited for light tackle or fly fishing such  as Snook, Tarpon, Redfish and Trout.  Cobia, Flounder, Permit, Shark, Pompano, and Snapper are also fished in these waters.

     Capt. Mike is holder of USCG license #733501.   He is knowledgeable of all requirements to ensure your fishing trip safety.   You will enjoy his custom, Action Craft specialized flats boat, with elevated platform, powerful 200 hp Mercury outboard motor, as well as a quiet electric trolling motor.

     Both beginners and experts can expect a wonderful learning opportunity from Capt. Mike's practical know-how about the wonderful world of saltwater backcountry fishing - tips, techniques and even basic instruction if required.
